Slate: 'The New York Times' Dreadful Public Editor'

Jack Shafer, Slate's Pressbox columnist, has a new piece about The New York Times' Byron Calame, headlined "The Public Editor as Duffer." Go to http://www.slate.com/id/2141404/.

Of course, readers of this blog already knew that Calame was dreadful. See the exchange Todd Pitock, one of our class action settlement objectors, had with him last August, "Sizing Up the NY Times Public Editor: Small (Vague), Medium (Disingenuous), Large (Misinformed)," http://freelancerights.blogspot.com/2005/08/sizing-up-ny-times-public-editor-small.html.
